The Stodas invade Tarkiln State Park

There is a state park just down the street from our house, and we love to take the kids and dog down there and walk the boardwalk out to the water. And it was a great place to practice with my new camera!

Close ups of my cute kiddos

Ah, Dad

So tired right now

Busy doing something

Beautiful blue eyes, just like big sis

Okay, maybe not a close up, but a great picture, I had to throw it in. She was totally hamming for me

Operation Homecoming

Here are all the pictures of Jesse's homecoming. I can only post five at a time, and I forgot that they post in reverse order, so this post is actually the last group of pictures, working backwards to the first. But, you still get to see them all at least ;). Enjoy!

Ah, being all romantical

Zeke was fighting so hard to not go to sleep

I don't know why no one takes us seriously

Actually a good picture with three of us looking!

The first pictures of the four of us

Apparently we were being filmed

Enjoying some severe weather

We had some severe weather today, there was actually a tornado that hit Pensacola. Kimberlee and I and the kids were of course holed up in the house and had no idea what was going on until we started getting phone calls to make sure we were okay. But Cooper hated being inside all day, so during a lull in the rain we took a walk down the street for a couple minutes.

Love splashing in puddles!

Wait, what was that?

It was thunder!!

So this is what it will be like now that I'm a parent of two...

Loving the new Brubby

Cooper loves being a big sister sooo much! It is amazing to see her love on him, but we definitely have to watch her every second, cause her love can be a little bit aggressive!

At the Lake

Sean Pearson's family invited us to their lake cabin on a lake in Alabama, and we were able to get away for a long weekend and go join them. It was beautiful there, and really fun to spend some time with Sean and Jenny.

No, seriously

Ah, the happy couple (only some of us are slightly more rounded ;) )

What, it was totally safe.

Cooper's favorite thing to do at the lake was drive the boat and honk the horn. She would get quite upset if anyone else tried to help her steer while she was driving.

Eating lunch can be very hard work

Cooper woke up early and quite wired this morning, and apparently all the wild playing had her completely wiped out by lunchtime. Notice she fell asleep in the middle of reaching for a chunk of food, and she was so soundly asleep that she never even woke up when I was taking pictures (or cleaning her up, or putting her into bed). She is such a funny little thing.

Why Moms have to have a sense of humor to not go crazy

Well, as many of you know, Cooper keeps us very busy with her creativity and love for life! That's a nice way of saying that she's always into something. I usually don't get pictures of her into stuff, since I am usually jumping in to control the damage as much as possible, but yesterday and today I have snuck up on her with the camera a couple times.

What, I wasn't touching the toilet paper.

And I definitely didn't leave that pile on the floor.

Look Mommy, I am putting away the shirt you just folded!

Don't worry, Mommy, I will pour myself some breakfast.
